What Is Brenda Saying?
My focus today is the same as when I first entered the consulting industry -- understand the mission of leadership, the unique characteristics of the organization, what employees value, and then deliver an organizational strategy that produces a winning culture where people at all levels understand the value of sustainable change. As your trusted organizational strategist, I'll collaborate with you to develop methods tailored to meet both your objectives, and the intrinsic needs of each employee. Incorporate this solution and watch your employees find the synergy, productivity and satisfaction of a winning team.
Founder's Values and Beliefs
People are the most important asset of an organization. This includes not only employees, but also other stakeholders such as customers, executives, board members, civic and government leaders, and stockholders. As a leader, I must be concerned with the relationship of all these groups, both separately and as they impact one another.
Managed well, employees will find the synergy, productivity and satisfaction of a winning team. Managed poorly, they will search for individual reward, often at the expense of coworkers and the organization. While I believe that the majority of employees enter an organization with a sense of loyalty, pride and desire to make a significant contribution, there are organizations where employees fail to achieve their potential. Why? I believe it is a lack of understanding of human nature rather than a lack of motivation.
As a leader in a productive and talented organization, it is my responsibility to work with the management team to:
As a leader I cannot motivate another person to action. I can provide the environment, the individual rewards and recognition, and the leadership that will inspire the desire to excel in each employee. To me, this is one of the most important contributions any leader can make to an organization.

- Maintain the integrity of the mission and operating procedures of the organization
- Understand what is important to employees
- Find ways to provide experiences tailored to meet the organizational objectives, as well as the intrinsic needs of each employee
- Help employees understand how they fit into the “big picture” and why their individual work is important
- Recruit employees who have the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to succeed in a particular job
- Provide the tools, resources and technology necessary to help employees be most productive
- Facilitate sharing of information and resources across unit boundaries
- Set an example of the sort of professional behavior desired from others
- Fairly evaluate employee strengths and weaknesses and provide effective feedback to encourage development and change
- Resolve employee differences, tensions and conflicts without becoming involved in petty disagreements
- Assist employees to become more autonomous and independent by providing the outside parameters and then empowering them to make relevant operational and customer service decisions
- Encourage employees to solve problems by working together, through open discussions and the use of effective decision-making techniques
- Appropriately delegate authority and responsibility
- Nurture a network of peers and superiors throughout the organization, in order to maintain communication and to understand how each individual unit can better interact with others
- Strive for 100% customer satisfaction and continually educate and encourage employees so they will do the same
As a leader I cannot motivate another person to action. I can provide the environment, the individual rewards and recognition, and the leadership that will inspire the desire to excel in each employee. To me, this is one of the most important contributions any leader can make to an organization.

What Are Clients Saying?
Managing Partner, KPMG
Simply put, the best org change professional I've worked with in my 33 years of experience. Strategy to Implementation, Executive Coaching to Communications to Training, Brenda covers all change subjects with a level of practicality and depth rarely seen. Further, Brenda goes beyond the mechanics of change. She adjusts her approach -- from empathetic to direct, not only to get the most out of the change program, but also to get the most out of the team she is working with. Surprising an old dog like me could learn some new tricks...from Brenda. This endorsement comes from someone who has spent a career with the mindset of skepticism toward the change programs and change professionals. This past year's journey with my team was extraordinary; any organization in need of a real change professional would benefit from having Brenda steer the ship.
Senior Director, KPMG
You are the master of change, herder of cats, and the scissors to a bunch of red tape.
Chief Information Officer, Global Technology Solutions, Covetrus
I had the opportunity to work with Brenda on our global deployment of Workday for Covetrus. In comparison to the many efforts which we drove, as part of IT Transformation, Brenda and her team rocked the world and really delivered. It is clear to say that her efforts were in the top 5% of all change management programs that we have launched. I whole heartedly recommend her for these types of engagements and wouldn't hesitate to reach out to her again, should we have a need.
Assistant Provost, The Ohio State University
Brenda provided organizational change leadership for the Arts and Sciences Business Process Reengineering Project at The Ohio State University. She worked closely with me and other executive sponsors to continuously confirm that the design of the organizational structure and individual roles supported the overall strategy of the change. Her deep knowledge of university business processes and the dynamics between the academic and business side of the organization were of particular value in helping to inform and engage stakeholders at all levels. Although this project ended in late 2008, Brenda continues to remain engaged to hear about our successes and ongoing strategic change efforts. I count her as a trusted sounding board and coach when it comes to the introduction, transition and successful adoption of organizational change.
Assistant Vice President, Academic Affairs, The Ohio State University
The data that's being captured, with Brenda's guidance, is absolutely fabulous. I believe this will assist not only the business sponsors but our HR staff as well as we help prepare staff for the multiple changes they will face as we roll out the new system
Members, Organizational Change Leadership Practice, Navigator Management Partners
As the founder of the NavMP Organizational Leadership Practice, you have given us roots and wings.
Business Test Manager, State of Michigan
Brenda is a high energy, effective and organized person. She is great communicator and the customer placed great trust in her. She managed complex situations, created useful tools for the customers and was a pleasure to work with. I hope our professional paths cross again and that we have the opportunity to work together.
Talent and Organizational Performance Manager, The Taubman Company
Brenda was a critical liaison and mentor for me at Accenture. She easily navigated the structure at Accenture and was able to lend guidance on where to spend my time and how to move successfully through the organization. I've also worked under Brenda on project work and was able to see first hand her project management. She successfully balances her resources' capacity and ability and the drive to get the job done for the client. She is a straight talker who is diplomatic but for the most part she tells you what she sees and isn't a lot of hot air. This is so refreshing in the consulting space.
University Distinquished Professor, Michigan State University
Brenda Sprite has a smile yards wide, a personality and energy to match ... intelligent, creative, prodigious worker ... watch out, world!
